I had you all skip a few steps yesterday so that we could get our pockets and plackets attached to our skirt and I hope that didn't cause too much confusion!
Throughout the testing process, a lot of my testers mentioned that it would be easier to attach the pockets to the skirt BEFORE attaching the skirt to the bodice. This way you aren't dealing with a ton of fabric going through your sewing machine all at once.
For me, I like putting my pockets on AFTER everything has been assembled just to ensure...
Yesterday, we started putting our skirt together and even tackled gathering it. Today, we are going to put the finishing touches on that skirt before attaching it to our bodice top tomorrow!
Let's get started with putting our plackets on to the center back of our skirt- I'll see you on page 41 of your instruction booklet!

Repeat for your interfaced waistband pieces.
28) Press your seams open. I totally spaced and didn't get a photo of this step with this...
Yesterday, we made it through prepping our bodice for attaching the front to the back shoulder straps. So today, we will tackle that tricky bit. Everyone has there favorite way of attaching a lining to a sleeveless bodice and this one happens to be mine.
Try it out and if you find that you hate it, no worries! There are so many other options out there, I am sure you will find a way that works well for you!
I only left two steps for this in your instructions because it really is a...
