Used Book Program

Do you have used books in good condition that you think another reader might enjoy? If so, check out our used book program below to see how you can trade in your amazing stories for used book credit!

Used Book Credit

I currently offer store credit for every book accepted which will be applied to your customer account and can be used at checkout to purchase anything in our shop, including a new story just for you!

Depending on the quality and demand for the books sent, you will receive between 20-30% of our price for them in store credit. I credit according to the current value of the book; as such, top-quality books with little sign of use will receive more credit. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for credit to be applied to your account. After all, it is just me behind the scenes!

Your credit will be stored in your customer account and will never expire. If you do not already have an account, I am more than happy to create on for you!

Guidelines for Sending Books

Due to minimal storage space, I ask that you only send in very good or like-new books. You may ship your books at anytime throughout the year, simply email me at brittani@untitledthoughts.com so that I may coordinate with you a time in which to either ship your books or, if you are local, a place in which we might meet in person. If shipping, I suggest you send your books via Media Mail through USPS (the most cost effective option). I do not currently cover the cost of shipping.

If I find I cannot issue credit for a book after it has been sent to me, I will donate them to either a local charity or a little free library.

I am only able to accept books in very good to like-new condition. Please don’t send books that are heavily annotated, ripped, falling apart, have a severely cracked spine, or just plain icky.

I AM NOT able to take magazines, Reader’s Digest, encyclopedias, coloring books, textbooks, sporting books, or non-book items (CDs, DVDs, etc.). If you are unsure if I may be able to accept a book, feel free to shoot me an email--I am always happy to answer any and all questions.
