Shipping Times

*Note: The below shipping times are relevant after your package has been dropped off at the post office/ UPS. There is an additional "processing time" of 1-2 business days. Business days refers to days during the week, not including weekends or holidays.

US orders with a subtotal of $75 or more receive free shipping.

Flat Rate Shipping (First Class mail): 3-5 business days 

Priority Mail: 2-3 business days 

International Orders: 14-21 business days (depending on First Class or Priority options)

All orders are generally dropped off at the post office/ UPS on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

International Orders (Including Canada & South America):

Please note that your country may charge you additional duties + fees. We are not responsible for any additional charges incurred once your package leaves our hands.

 

Addt'l Shipping Questions

How do you ship physical items offered in your shop?

All physical goods are shipped based on the method you select at checkout. I try to ship an item no later than 2 days after purchase. I ship all items in either upcycled packaging, reusable/recyclable boxes, or with Eco-Enclose mailers. You can read more about my efforts to keep shipping sustainable here.

Do you accept orders from international customers?

Of course! 

Does shipping include customs, duties, and/or taxes required by my country?

Unfortunately, I cannot cover the cost of customs, duties, or taxes on physical items shipped internationally. These fees are out of my control and vary by country. They are the responsibility of the customer and due upon receipt of your package.

 

Returns/ Refunds

Do you accept returns/ offer refunds?

For physical items, yes, I accept returns and will offer a full refund (minus the cost of shipping) within 14 days of receiving your item(s) if the item(s) in question has arrived damaged or has been lost in the mail. 

If you have simply changed your mind and no longer want the item you have ordered, I am able to offer store credit. 

In both instances, please email me at brittani@untitledthoughts.com so that we might initiate the return process. I try to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours. 

If you have purchased a digital item, please note that I do not accept returns or refunds on said items. 

 

Digital Pattern Downloads

I purchased a PDF pattern, but I never received an email with my downloads. What should I do?

After your purchase, an email should have been sent directly to you containing your pattern files. Sometimes, these emails may be filtered in odd ways in your inbox. Be sure to you check your spam folders as well as any special tabs you might have (i.e. Gmail Promotional tab). If you are still unable to find any emails containing your files, feel free to email me directly at brittani@untitledthoughts.com with your order # and I will send you your pattern files directly.

I purchased a PDF pattern, prior to it being updated. Do I need to re-purchase the same pattern in order to access the updated files?

Nope! You will automatically receive a new download link directly to the email connected with your original purchase. If you purchased your PDF files from another website, please reach out to them for your updated files. If you purchased a print pattern in the past and would like the updated PDF files, reach out to me at brittani@untitledthoughts.com , and I will get those files to you!

I received a notification that my PDF pattern has been automatically updated. How do I find out what updates were made to my pattern files?

I have added an Errata page (yay!) that contains a list of any and all changes made to all the patterns in the shop!

I received a notification that my PDF pattern has been automatically updated, but the link says it is now expired. What should I do?

My current digital download app only allows the new updated link to be available for 24 hours. I am working to find a new app that allows for a longer download time and apologize for any current inconvenience! Please feel free to email me at brittani@untitledthoughts.comso that I can get your updated files sent to you!

How do I go about printing / using my digital pattern download?

Where do you suggest I get my copyshop file printed?

I enjoy having my copyshop files printed at Brooklyn Motif Printing (USA) and at Patternsy (International). Both offer wonderful service, fast shipping, and are incredibly affordable!

Am I able to hide size layers and print only the sizes I need?

Yes! All of my patterns currently come with size layers that are able to be hidden on the print-at-home files. 

Do your patterns include seam allowances?

Yes! All of my patterns come with 1/2" (1,3 cm) seam allowances already included.

Is there anything special about your patterns that I might not know about?

I think my two favorite bits about my patterns include the instructions and the Zero Waste options! All of my patterns come with interactive instructions that make working through your project a breeze. Not only can you easily zip around your instruction files, but I also include links to additional resources that you can access with just one click.

I have also designed my new pattern instructions with slightly larger font so that whether you are reading from a computer screen, printing out singular sheets, or creating your very own booklet, the type should be clear to read, especially if you are vision impaired. And for those that have a color printer or are following their instructions on a computer monitor, I have updated my new instructions with loads of fun and quirky little bits that I hope brighten your sewing experience!

Some patterns even come with a zero waste/ paperless printing guide! This guide is there for those who might not have access to a printer (i.e. The Fleur which can be drafted entirely on to your fabric!), or for those looking to save some paper for pattern pieces that are easy to draft directly onto your fabric.

 

General Sewing Questions

What size pattern should I make?

That really depends on a lot of different factors - If you need help choosing the proper size, it is best to look at the size chart + finished garment measurement chart inside your pattern booklet. However, if you are nervous about picking the correct size and would like some guidance, feel free to email me at brittani@untitledthoughts.com anytime! I am more than happy to help walk you through choosing the right size for your unique shape!

I reached out to you via email / Instagram/ Facebook but never heard back?

I am so sorry about that! I try my best to respond to DM's and emails at least once a day Monday-Friday. I will admit that I am slowest to respond to messages via Facebook as I am hardly on the site, and every so often and email gets lost in my emails or simply never shows up! Please feel free to reach out to me again - I promise I want to hear from you!

What is the best way to contact you?
