Putting Social Media on Pause

Putting Social Media on Pause

I keep sitting down to write this post, and then finding every excuse not to write this post. Mainly, I feel as if I am never in the right mindset to express what it is I want to say properly. The times I am in the right mindset generally include: when I am about to fall asleep, when I am knee deep in dirt in the garden, when I am showering and have no waterproof paper to write on.... Never the middle of the afternoon on a Thursday. The words never come to me then.

Yet here I am, on...

Defining Success

I am sure there are loads of blog posts out there all revolving around the topic of success: what it is, how to achieve it, how to celebrate it once you've gotten it...And I have even seen many a post on how it might look different from person to person.

I just wanted to add my own thoughts into the mix, because they have been swirling around in my mind for quite a while.

Technically, I started my new year sometime in December, but still, when the calendar read January 1st, 2019 I will admit I got a tad giddy with excitement and anticipation for what the mark of the new year might bring.

This year, I decided to follow Gretchen Rubin's prompt of creating a list of 19 items I would like to see happen in...

Reflecting on 2018 while Dreaming of 2019

Reflecting on 2018 while Dreaming of 2019

As the end of one year comes, I feel much more introspective, as I am sure many others do. A new year always offers promises of changes, a fresh start, and 365 days of new possibilities.

As 2019 draws to a close I can't help but look back and reflect on all that went right this past year... as well as what didn't go according to plan, for better or worse.

I have always been one to have a difficult time saying "No" to people. I always tend to take on more work...
