I had you all skip a few steps yesterday so that we could get our pockets and plackets attached to our skirt and I hope that didn't cause too much confusion!

Throughout the testing process, a lot of my testers mentioned that it would be easier to attach the pockets to the skirt BEFORE attaching the skirt to the bodice. This way you aren't dealing with a ton of fabric going through your sewing machine all at once.

Yesterday, we made it through prepping our bodice for sleeves. So today, we will tackle that tricky bit. If you haven't tackled sleeves before, that is ok! No need to worry. We are going to take this slow, and remember, this is just your first pancake! It's going to be fabulous because YOU accomplished a challenging task!

Alright, so yesterday we prepped our bodice and some other bits of our dress with interfacing and we sewed up all of our darts- yay! For today, we are going to focus on getting our bodice prepped and ready to add sleeves tomorrow!
