Self Drafted Embroidered Tulle Dress
This garment was sewn from a self drafted pattern.
I made this garment for my own personal use. Originally, it was a maxi dress, but I rarely wore it. So I refashioned the skirt into a shorter dress, but find that I still hardly reach for it. I hope to find this dress a good home where it will be worn often!
Fabric used was a beautifully embroidered tulle purchased from Stone Mountain and Daughters.
I made this garment based off of my own measurements which are:
Full Bust : 35" B-Cup (88,9 cm)
Waist: 28.5" (72,4 cm)
Hips: 38" (96,5 cm)
Finished Skirt Length: 19.25" (48,9)
This pattern has a loose fit with nice ease.
All inner seams are French Seamed. None of the neckline edges or hems have been finished as tulle does not fray or unravel with wear. The back closures are a simple hook and eye at the neck and another hook and eye at the waist to create minimal disruption in the pattern.
This listing does not include the lining dress pictured.
