Today, we are diving in to one of the trickier bits of the pattern. It's just got lots of little steps, so feel free to take as many breaks as you need as we work our way through assembling our skirt!

It’s a beautifully rainy day today in my neck of the woods, so let's take today nice and easy and focus on assembling our pockets and getting them attached to our skirt front.

With the wrong side facing you, turn top of pocket down 1/2” (1.3 cm) using the notches as your guide. Press down.

Flip your pocket over to the right side and turn the ironed edge of your pocket down 1” (2.6 cm) using fold line on your pattern piece as your guide.

Today, we are working on attaching our skirt to our waistbands- yay! That means we are nearly done with our Fleur Skirts :D I don't think we should wait -- let's dive right in!

With right sides together (RST), pin the front skirt piece to the front interfaced waistband, moving the non-interfaced waistband out of the way. Make sure your CF notches are matching and the edge of the skirt’s placket is at the corner of the waistband.

The edge of your skirt  should line up with the dot markings on your waistband pieces.

Today is the final day of the Fleur Sewalong! Once you have made it through this post, you should have an incredible Fleur ready to be worn all day, everyday!

We will be starting at the bottom of page 51 with our buttonholes!

Try on your skirt (eep you are almost there!) and pin along the markings for the buttonholes. You can stick with what I recommend as far as button size and placement go, or you can switch it up and add more or less!
